I am an instructor of Japanese in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I have been the recipient of the 2007 Frances Davis Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching and the 2013 Excellence in Teaching Award from the College of Languages, Linguistics and Literature.
