I am a Japanese instructor and graduate faculty member in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. My research interests include Japanese language pedagogy, teaching and learning of pragmatics, analysis of classroom discourse, and translation and interpreting.
