Korean BA Students at 39th HALT Conference

Five Korean BA students from the University of Hawai’i presented their paper at the 39th HALT Spring Conference on April 12th, 2025.

As part of a group project for their Korean 452 and Korean 470 courses, Korean BA students from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa presented on the topic “Strategies for Politeness in Non-Polite Expressions in Korean” at the Hawai’i Association of Language Teachers (HALT) Spring Conference.

Consisting of language teachers from K-12 and higher education institutions in Hawai’i, The Hawai’i Association of Language Teachers works to maintain the highest standards in the profession of teaching languages.
